The Nerius Family has to be one of my all time favorites. This family is just fun! They are down to earth and funny and go with the flow kind of people. They also hold a special place in my heart because they are my FIRST repeat client since I started this business almost a year ago. That is so incredibly special for me. But let me tell you ... this session was not as beautiful as it looks. Poor little Ben was sick along with teething and honestly wanted nothing to do with his parents and everything to do with running wild & free (the definition of every almost 2 year old boy) I would laugh every time Jennifer would make a comment like, "I swear he usually likes us." We had to distract him with anything we could find like pine cones, leaves, flowers, or basically anything on the ground just to get him to stay still for 2.5 seconds. But nonetheless, he's too darn cute not to adore! And Miss Penny is just the perfect little model. She was made to be in front of a camera and was such a good sport every time her little brother would push her away when trying to steal a hug or a kiss. Eventually, all that playing caught up to the poor little guy when he slipped and fell in a muddy puddle and coincidentally, that was the only time he volunteered to sit and pose. We had the best ending shots with his dirty bum and Jennifer and Jeremy were awesome sports about it all, as expected ... have I mentioned that I LOVE this family?
